OTEDUCA is the psycho-educational and pedagogical work unit of OTD Chile. Its objective is to educate and train professionals and interested public on the human rights of trans diversities, countering ignorance regarding the existing ignorance about diverse gender identities and expressions, promoting inclusion and respect, generating and sharing new knowledge and knowledge from community and social experience, which we have been developing as a social task for more than a decade of activism
OTEDUCA was born in 2017 to formalize and standardize the educational work of OTD Chile. Since then, more than 363 trainings have been carried out for different public and private institutions in the area of health, education, childhood and business in various regions of the country, working with institutions such as SENAME, Civil Registry, Gendarmería de Chile, Servicio de Salud Metropolitano, Universidad de Chile, Colegio de Profesores Metropolitano, Banco Estado Express, Fundación Emplea, Colegio de Matronas y Matrones, Google, Deloitte, Colegio Médico, Universidad Andrés Bello, Universidad Mayor, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Universidad Academia Humanismo Cristiano, BHP, Municipalidad de Recoleta, Municipalidad de Quilicura, SENAME and Mejor Niñez, among others.
