Transfest event OTD Chile
It is the first and only festival for the human rights of transgender people in Chile that takes place in October, the month for the depathologization of trans identities. It was held in 2015 and 2017 in the municipalities of Providencia and Recoleta, respectively. Its objective is to generate a public intervention where the transgender community, human rights organizations, artists and the general public meet to demonstrate and reflect on how the oppressions of the binary gender system affect the human rights of transgender people.
